Get ready to fall in love once again as the popular Chinese teen web drama A Love So Beautiful is reportedly getting a Korean remake, SPOTV News reports.

Kakao M, a Korean Entertainment powerhouse (who was once IU's agency (under Loen Entertainment) before she moved to a new one), will be producing the remake in short form—lasting only for 20 minutes per episode.

The 2017 hit series revolves around Chen Xiao Xi (Shen Yue) and Jiang Chen (Hu Yi Tian), a pair of childhood friends with very different personalities. Chen Xiao Xi is a carefree artist while Jiang Chen is the school heartthrob with an aptitude for academics. Together, they navigate the ups and downs of high school and later on, the reality of life.

A Love So Beautiful was well-received in China, gathering almost 5.5 billion views across streaming networks. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, the drama aired in 2018 on ABS-CBN. It is also currently available for streaming via Netflix.
