Neri Naig just added a new property to her growing portfolio: A new house that her family can call home in Baguio!
In an Instagram post on June 3, the actress turned entrepreneur gave a peek at her new investment which she called "The HillSide House."
The actress shared that among the reasons why they're often in Baguio is because they opened a new restaurant, she earned her degree in Business Administration from the University of Baguio, and that they looked for a rest house which they bought two months ago.
According to Neri, "For 24 years, nangungupahan lang kami. Walang masasabing ancestral house kasi maliit, kahit nasa probinsiya. Kaya palagi akong nagsusumikap kasama ng asawa ko, na makapag ipon para makabili ng mga bahay para sa mga anak namin."
"Ang pagiging mahirap namin nung bata, ako hanggang sa paglaki, ay naging inspirasyon ko para magsumikap sa buhay at nagn hindi maranasan ng aming mga anak ang kahirapan namin noon," Neri wrote.
Neri said that she's looking forward to spending Christmas and New Year's at their new abode, and being the entrepreneur that she is, added, "Siyempre, alam niyo na… Puwedeng i-rent din kapag 'di namin ginagamit. Baka next year, puwede na. Business pa rin, siyempre!"

Meanwhile, Neri's husband, Chito Miranda detailed how his wife worked extra hard to achieve her dream of owning her own property in Baguio. The Parokya Ni Edgar frontman shared that Neri found the house in the middle of the city and decided that she wanted to buy it.
According to Chito, "She printed out a picture ng bahay, and posted it sa hallway namin as to constantly remind her na 'yan yung next goal niya."
He shared that the photo served as an inspiration for Neri to work even more, adding, "Neri has no 'off-button.' Never sya nagpapahinga. Kung papanoorin mo siya on a normal day, 'constant kayod' talaga siya."
Chito said that even while resting, "hindi tumitigil yung utak niya." He shared that Neri would wake up at 5:00 a.m. to write down notes and talk to their business partners, adding, "Masipag talaga siya."
He added, "After a few months, binili niya yung bahay sa picture. Hold the vision, focus all your energy and do the work, THEN trust the process."
In February, Neri shared that she invested in a condo unit for her five-year-old son, Miggy Miranda by saving up her son’s money from endorsements to purchase the condo as a source of income. Last year, the couple also invested in a vacation rest house and a farm.
