Cosmo Online Hunk Ari Salud: Geek Gorgeous

Cosmo experimented with this hunky college athlete’s look—and he still looks cute as ever!
With his tanned, ripped body, it’s easy to pin Ateneo rowing stud Ari Salud as the quintessential college jock. But Cosmo was impressed to learn that this hunk has brains to go with that brawn! Talk about sexy through and through!

Ari flexes his mental muscles as an undergrad of the Economics Honors Program in the Ateneo. Last year, he scored a Quality Point Index of 3.67 (with 4.0 being the highest), landing him a coveted spot on the Dean’s List.

So for this week’s set of photos, just to play up his “nerdy” side a bit, Cosmo got experimental and dressed Ari up in geek threads. We also got a couple of his pals to play Summer to his Seth Cohen, and voila! He’s still hot as hell even with those geek specs on!

Read on to find out how this college cutie handles schoolwork, and find out what job he’d really love to have if money were no object!

How are you doing in school?

It gets harder and harder. I don’t know why.

It does. It’s supposed to!

But every year naman kasi you get more experience so you’re supposed to be able to deal with it naman.

So you get good grades?

Yeah, I manage to.

How do you balance rowing and your studies?

I always prioritize studies talaga. It’s like the base of my activities. My parents keep telling me I’m in Ateneo primarily to study talaga, not to row, not to do extra-curricular activities.

What are your favorite subjects?

I used to like Math. But I used to find it hard as well.

What else?

My major, Economics.

Are you good at it?

I think I am. I’d like to believe I am. (Laughs)

What do you plan to do when you graduate?

I plan to work first for maybe one or two years. If I can get into a bank, good. I’ll be happy.

Do you have any lofty dreams, like do you want to be an astronaut or a rock star?

It’s not a lofty dream, but I’ve always wanted to be a taxi driver for some reason (laughs). If the pay was good lang.

Really? Why?

I love driving kasi. I don’t get bored driving. So it would be nice naman to have a job where you don’t get bored. And you get to meet different people. In-imagine talaga (laughs)! Then you really familiarize yourself with the areas.

What’s the best thing about college?

For me, the freedom talaga. Pero I don’t think everyone experiences it kasi e. I think it’s different if your parents aren’t that strict.

And your parents aren’t?

They’re liberal. As long as I get good grades, I can do almost anything.

Do you study hard or do you prefer to wing it?

Me, I prefer to study for it talaga. Then the bahala na part comes lang if I’m cramming na.
