Next up for this month's series of celebrity beauty polls (vote in our first poll here!), we've got the ever-charming Emma Stone, who recently stared in the Marvel superhero reprisal, The Amazing Spider-Man.
Lead star Andrew Garfield's Spidey senses weren't the only ones tingling as the whole world gaped in awe when Emma revealed her bright, blonde new hairdo for the role of Gwen Stacy--Spiderman's love interest du jour.
Her blond locks gave the funny actress a whole new persona--while her signature wit was still intact, Emma seemed to have turned into a whole different person…all with a little hair dye!
Gone was the mischievous Olive Penderghast from Easy A who unwittingly went down a road of social ruin in her earnestness to help out a friend. Gone was the quietly sexy Hannah Weaver who captivated Ryan Gosling's Jacob Palmer in Crazy, Stupid, Love. Emma played both roles to perfection, and looked amazing as both Olive and Hannah--first with a curly mop of auburn hair, followed by chic, pin-straight auburn hair. Alas, all good things must come to an end.
What resurfaced after the peroxide set in was cute, lovable blonde Gwen who complimented Peter Parker's shy, boy-next-door appeal. Together, Emma and Andrew made a stunning couple onscreen (and off-screen--the two are dating in real life!) with Emma's new blonde mane complementing Andrew's thick head of brown hair.
Emma's new hairdo has courted varied reactions--most of her fans are used to seeing her in her signature auburn locks. However, it should be noted that Emma's natural hair color is actually blonde!
