Yup, it's been a whole decade since the kilig Thai movie was released! Mario Maurer and Baifern have become superstars in their own right since then, but we'll never forget this project. Crazy Little Thing Called Love, also known as First Love, tells the story of P'Nam (Baifern), a shy high school student who has a huge crush on her senior—and the school heartthrob—P'Shone (Mario). She does everything in her power to get him to notice her, but P'Shone has ~adorable~ secrets of his own.
Leading lady Baifern took to IG to mark the movie's 10th anniv yesterday, August 12. She shared a post from her fan club and the English part of her caption reads: "Thank you for all the fans who have always been supporting me. It's been 10 years since Little Thing Called Love was released and I promise to keep bringing in more of my work for you to enjoy. Thanks again for all the fans from everywhere in any [country]."
If you miss Baifern and Mario's adorable chemistry, you'd be glad to know that they're also working on a reunion movie called Laser Candy. According to Guru Magazine by Bangkok Post, it is "a modern love story set in the near future where an AI building is powered by human feelings. Due to a software glitch, it falls in love with a real girl, escapes the building into the body of a real man, and tries to win her affections."
Before the pandemic, Mario was scheduled to visit the Philippines for a fan meet.
