Alright, here's some bummer news to start your week. Dakota Johnson and Coldplay's Chris Martin, who never even actually confirmed their relationship, might have broken up at the end of last month.
According to The Sun, Chris has recently been telling his friends that he's single. Their friends are reportedly kind of surprised about it because they dated for almost two years and were even talking about getting married. Chris recently bought a beach house in Malibu, which the two were reportedly living in together.
"Chris and Dakota were very easygoing and always seemed really happy together," a source said. "There was talk of engagement, but now he says they have gone their separate ways, which has come as a real surprise to everyone."
Again, the two never officially confirmed they were dating or spoke about it with press, but they did get matching tattoos a while ago. They're infinity symbols, which makes it an even bigger bummer that they broke up.
What's weird about this, too, is that Dakota and Chris' ex, Gwyneth Paltrow, seem to have become pretty good friends during their relationship. Like, they hang out. Without him.
Gwyneth even said in an interview recently that Dakota is "a fantastic woman," adding, "I adore her."
The couple hasn't confirmed this news themselves, but if it's true, it's a major, major bummer.
