Okay, so most times when people go on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, they don't get accosted with questions from Ellen about why she wasn't invited to [insert celebrity name here]'s birthday party, but when you're Dakota Johnson, you might not be so lucky.

Case in point: When Dakota sat down to talk with Ellen, Ellen was pretty much ready to throw hands because she was left off Dakota's 30th birthday party guest list. Dakota's birthday was on October 4, which is probably why it was fresh in Ellen's mind!

But according to Dakota, Ellen's lying about the lack of invitation. "Actually, no, that's not the truth, Ellen. You were invited," Dakota said. "Last time I was on the show last year, you gave me a bunch of shit about not inviting you, but I didn't even know you wanted to be invited. I didn't even know you liked me!"

Ellen's answer? "Of course I like you," she said. "You knew I liked you! You've been on the show many times and don't I show...like?"

"But I did invite you, and you didn't come," Dakota insisted. "Ask everybody. Ask Jonathan, your producer." Once Ellen's team confirmed that yes, she was indeed invited to Dakota's 30th birthday party, the floodgates in Ellen's mind finally began to open up.

"I was invited? Why didn't I go?" Ellen questioned her staff. "Oh yeah, I had a thing. It was probably in Malibu. That's too far for me to go...No, but I really didn't remember that until just now." So basically, Ellen's a massive troll, LOL.

The interview only gets more and more awkward after that, if you can believe it. I won't spoil it all for you, but go ahead and watch the whole thing for yourself, below. Prepare to be left in stitches.
