Dennis Padilla and Dani Barretto just had the sweetest exchange on Instagram.
On April 23, Friday, Dani did an appreciation post for her mom Marjorie Barretto.
"I celebrate you not only on Mother’s Day but every day, @marjbarretto," Dani wrote. "Thank you for everything that you do for us, Mom!" The post featured a recent photo of her and Marjorie, and another one of them when Dani when she was still a child.
Dennis commented on the post to share his praises for Dani, whom he helped raise with his ex-wife Marjorie. Dennis and Marjorie have three biological children together: Julia Barretto, Claudia Barretto, and Leon Barretto.
"You are a great mother, too..." he said. "Miss you, anak." Aww.
Dani has a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Millie, with her husband Xavi Panlilio. Dani's biological father is Kier Legaspi.
"@dennisastig Thank you, Pa!!!!!!!" Dani replied. "Hope you’re well! Stay safe always, please!"
In a radio interview, Dennis shared his experience battling COVID-19 for 12 days in a hospital and how he prayed to be given another chance to still be with his children again. He also said he believes the constant prayers of his kids helped him stay strong and survive.
"Ang paniwala ko, mukhang pinakamalakas na pakinggan ng Panginoon yung mga dasal ng mga anak ko," Dennis said. "They were praying for their father. They were praying for my recovery. They were praying na mawala na lahat yung infection ko sa lungs."
