John Lloyd Cruz has made it clear that there is no bad blood between him and ex-GF Ellen Adarna’s husband Derek Ramsay, even wishing them a “strong and happy” marriage during a TV guesting in 2021. He also expressed his appreciation for Derek, whom he believes is a “good influence” on his son Elias.
In a recent vlog, comedian Ogie Diaz gave an account of his conversation with the actor during director Bobot Mortiz’s birthday party.
“Sabi ko, ‘buti okay kayo ni Ellen sa bata,’ [sabi niya] ‘oo naman, kapag gusto ko naman hiramin yung anak ko, nahihiram ko naman. Maganda rin na nandoon si Derek kasi naiintindihan ako ni Derek bilang tatay din siya,” shared Ogie.
Instagram/johnlloydcruz83According to the comedian, JLC also believes that Derek’s parenting is a major factor in Elias’ mature personality. “’Ang [ganda] ng ginagawa ni Derek para sa anak ko. Four years old pa lang [siya] pero parang matured na. […] ‘Kung hindi ganun si Derek, hindi ko alam kung anong ugali ngayon ni Elias.’”
