Previously, Disney have also revealed the following films are in the works:

  • Sister Act 3 - Almost three decades after the original film, Whoopi Goldberg is back!Slated for 2024.
  • Three Men And A Baby remake - a new version of the 1980s classic film is coming, this time starring actual Zac Efron.
  • The Little Mermaid live-action remake - we already know quite a lot about this one. Halle Bailey will star as Ariel, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric and Awkwafina as Scuttle. It's expected to air on May 28, 2023.
