True soldiers of reading who made it through all 1,500-plus pages of the Fifty Shades trilogy know that E.L. James has a lot to say, so it should come as no surprise that the author has more sexy novels up her sleeve.
"I have some love stories bubbling away in my mind," she told People magazine. "I hope the fans will be as eager to read them as I am to write them." The word "eager" is probably an understatement, but yes, E.L. The fans are "eager," just like Ana whenever Christian is wearing his playroom jeans. Ba dum chhh!
But will there be sex? Of course there will! What's a love story without sex? "When people fall in love, a certain amount of friskiness inevitably follows," E.L. said. "Friskiness" here presumably meaning "sex in boathouses, sex with riding crops, and sex on a spreader," but she's right. She does not, however, plan to go light on romance, because she believes the romance is "what readers enjoy most about Fifty Shades."
Yeah, the romance. That's definitely it.
