This morning, Anne Curtis shared a video compilation of Erwan Heussaff and their daughter Dahlia doing food prep together. If you watch it with the sound on, you'll hear Erwan speaking to Dahlia in French, asking her to pass the eggs, the butter, and the milk. And Dahlia, being the best little helper, happily hands them one by one to her dad.
Another clip shows Erwan teaching Dahlia how to whisk with her very own Hello Kitty kitchen tool. And the last segment of the compilation finds Dahlia enjoying a plum after Erwan guides her on how to eat the fruit.
Anne captioned the video, "Family SaturDATE. I used to obsess over father-daughter cooking videos on Facebook, and now I slowly get to see my own version IRL as she gets older. @erwan. Things to watch for: How proud [Dahlia] is each time she gives an item to her papa. How excited she is about her new fave fruit. Her reaction when I ask 'Sarap?'"
Several netizens love that Dahlia is being raised in a multilingual household. User @jorvelyn commented, "Keep this coming! I'm interested in seeing how a child grows up hearing different languages. In the last few minutes of the video, she responded to both 'C'est bon?' and 'Sarap?' Thanks for sharing. Lovely family."
"I love that he's speaking in French to her. Prune délicieuse!" wrote IG user @tiffanyngo44.
User @gabrielamortega said, "She is adorable. I love how she is immersed in French, English, and Tagalog. Mommy asks 'Sarap?' after Dad asked 'C'est bon?'"
