SF9's Taeyang just met his idol and we're so jealous!
On July 11, Taeyang took to Instagram to share his excitement over finally meeting his role model, Kai, of the popular K-pop boy group EXO.
The SF9 member uploaded the photos of their *cute* interaction with the caption, "So happy today! Thank you, Kai! It's been such an honor, Kai sunbaenim."
He added, "As your fan, I'll be supporting you at all times. Thank you for your time."
Kai and SF9 were both invited to perform at the recent HallyuPopFest 2022 held at the OVO Arena Wembley in London.
ICYDK, Taeyang is well-known among EXO-Ls (EXO's fandom name) and FANTASYs (SF9's fandom name) to be a big EXO fan.
The 25-year-old idol even regularly uploads dance covers of EXO's songs as well as Kai's solo music releases.
In 2021, he shared dance cover performances of EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" and Kai's "Peaches."
Taeyang debuted in 2016 as the sub-vocalist and main dancer of the nine-member K-pop boy group SF9. The group is set to make their comeback on July 13 with their 11th mini album The Wave OF9. SF9 will carry out album promotions with six members, sans Youngbin, Inseong, and Rowoon.
