We’re pretty sure you’ve watched the MV (music video) and you might be thinking that Big Hit Entertainment simply put the village together for the shoot, right? Nope!
SUGA's “Daechwita” music video was actually filmed in a famous and well-preserved historically-themed location called the Dae Jang Geum Park. It was built to showcase how South Korea used to live in the past. It’s pretty immersive since you can wear South Korea’s traditional clothing (aka the Hanbok). Think of it as a different take on the whole Gyeongbongguk Palace Hanbok-wearing experience!
The park is closed for the time being due to the pandemic, but it's definitely on top of our bucket list once it's safe to travel for leisure again!
SUGA released his much-anticipated second mixtape D-2 on May 22, under his rapper name Agust D, with the title track "Daechwita." His first mixtape, Agust D, came out on August 15, 2016.
