In today’s news: f(x)’s Krystal Jung has officially separated from SM Entertainment, and is now a part of a new agency.

In August this year, it was reported that Krystal’s
 exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, her agency of 10 years, was about to expire. Two months after, her new agency, H& Entertainment, has confirmed her shift in labels with CEO Hong Min Ki stating: “We are delighted to be able to set off on a new journey together with Jung Soo Jung [Krystal’s name] as she makes a fresh start and takes a leap towards change.” He further added that the company will support Krystal, who is known both as a K-pop idol and actress, in showcasing her acting skills and taking on more projects.

H&E Entertainment is the agency of Son Dam Bi (who starred in When The Camellia Blooms), Kwak Dong Yeon (who made a special appearance in It’s Okay To Not Be Okay), and Jung In Sun (who led the comedy drama Welcome To Waikiki), to name a few.

Krystal debuted in 2009 as a member of the K-pop girl group, f(x), and has joined the cast of K-dramas such as The Heirs, Bride Of The Water God, and Prison Playbook. At present, Krystal is preparing her new thriller drama Search, and is set for the release of her upcoming film, More Than Familywhere she plays the role of a pregnant college student.
