The Ateneo Blue Eagles proved that they are dead serious about defending their UAAP Championship title, as they took out the UST Growling Tigers, 81-64, last Sunday, September 20, at the Araneta Coliseum. The UST ballers, led by Dylan Ababou and Khasim Mirza, attempted to put up a good fight, but the Ateneo big men stood their ground, led by Rabeh Al-Hussaini, Eric Salamat, Nonoy Baclao, and Jai Reyes.
In the game last Saturday, September 19, the UE Red Warriors beat the FEU Tamaraws to force a sudden death match on Thursday to decide who will advance to face the Eagles in the first Finals bout on Sunday.
It was fun watching these players put on their best game, and we can look forward to more action from the Ateneo front when they face their opponent on Sunday. But, to Cosmo, what makes UAAP always exciting are the hot college men and alumni who passionately root for their favorite teams. Whether they were cheering or booing, these guys looked sexily intense as they poured their hearts out into the game, even just from the bleachers.
