In recent years, Han So Hee has shown that she's a versatile actress who can smoothly transition from a college student to a police officer. She's willing to try any role, reason why she's one of the busiest celebs today and everyone just wants her to be a part of their project. With So Hee's innate talent and hard work, we're not surprised every time there's an announcement about her new series! If you just became her fan and want to see more of her works, we picked her best dramas so far which you can read below:
1. 100 Days My Prince (2018)
Sageuk (historical) dramas are always nice, especially when classical tropes are involved—like a character who has amnesia. 100 Days My Prince follows the life of Crown Prince Lee Yul (EXO's D.O.) who mysteriously disappeared. After a hundred days, he came back to the palace and everyone is wondering what happened to him. This period drama is one of the highest-rated tvN series of all time due to its youthful appeal and funny scenes. Here, So Hee portrays Crown Princess Kim So Hye who was forced into a marriage.
2. Abyss (2019)
Looking for a fantasy series that's out of this world? Netflix describes Abyss as a drama where "A mysterious, mystical marble (aka the Abyss) brings Go Se Yeon (Park Bo Young) and Cha Min (Ahn Hyo Seop) back to life in entirely different bodies—one new and improved, the other not so much—but that doesn't stop them from meeting and falling in love." So Hee plays a supporting role Jang Hee Jin (or Oh Su Jin) who vanished before her wedding.
3. A World Of Married Couple (2020)
Before you watch this drama, make sure that you have a blood pressure monitor with you. In 2020, the whole world was hooked as well as stressed because of A World Of Married Couple. The story is about a married couple who seems to have a perfect life, until the wife (Kim Hee Ae) found out that her husband (Park Hae Joon) is cheating on her. The thing is, everyone knows about it except her—even her closest friends. So just imagine how much that hurts! So Hee made our blood boil when she took on the role of Yeo Da Kyung, aka the ~other woman.~
4. Nevertheless (2021)
So Hee transformed into an art student in Nevertheless, the K-drama that gave us the butterflies. She plays Yoo Na Bi (Fun fact: her name translates to...a butterfly!) who is scared to fall in love again because of her past relationship. Enter Park Jae Eon (Song Kang), a bright red flag that had her smitten. Na Bi and Jae Eon went on dates, had *sleepovers,* and in the long run, they both realized their actual feelings for each other. If you're into steamy and mature dramas, this one's perfect for you!
5. My Name (2021)
Ah, the drama that highlighted So Hee's versatility. She really went from a gentle univ student to a badass queen here! My Name is So Hee's first Netflix Korean original series where she portrays Yoon Ji Woo. One day, she witnessed her father's murder and this motivated her to find the suspect no matter what it takes. Ji Woo infiltrated the police and joined South Korea's biggest cartel to look for an answer, only to discover secrets that shooked the hell out of her. Since My Name is an action drama, So Hee prepared a lot for her role, both emotionally and physically. In fact, she gained 10 kilos of muscle weight just for it!
6. Soundtrack #1 (2022)
So Hee fans (including us) are so, so lucky because their fave is back on the small screen! This time, she's leading the Disney+ mini-series (it only has four episodes) Soundtrack #1 with Park Hyung Sik. This romantic drama falls under the friends-to-lovers genre and is about two BFFs: A songwriter and a photographer. When they started living in one house, they discovered that they mean a lot to each other and it's not just as friends.
7. Gyeongseong Creature (2023)
So Hee and Park Seo Joon in one thriller drama? Yes, please! Gyeongseong Creature revolves around the youth who lived in a time when they had to be cautious about what they do. It highlights their struggles and efforts in order to survive. So Hee is cast as Yoon Chae Ok, a woman who changes the life of the influential Jang Tae Sang (Seo Joon). Squid Game star Wi Ha Joon is also confirmed to star in Gyeongseong Creature, so that's another reason why you should look forward to it.
