In her Instagram Stories, Heart paid a visit to the PAWS Animal Rehabilitation Center in Quezon City on January 15 as she met some of the animals, mostly dogs, which were victims of Taal Volcano.
In an Instagram post, Heart wrote, “There are still so many dogs, cows, and other livestock that need our love. For those of you who want to help, he PAWS team will be needing cow feed, chicken feed, dog food, cat food, bottles of water, and pet bowls in order to help our furry friends.”
Heart, who is a fur mom to her fashionista aspin Panda, recently fostered an aspin puppy she found on the street in Bicol. She named the dog Daba which means “mahal na anak” in Bicolano.
Meanwhile, PAWS is still accepting donations as they continue their relief operations in the surrounding areas of Taal Volcano where many animals such as dogs, cats, and livestock have been left behind by their owners.
PAWS is currently in need of cow and chicken feed, dog and cat food, bottles of water, and pet bowls. Donations may be dropped off personally or sent via Grab or Lalamove to the PAWS Animal Shelter in Quezon City. They will be accepting donations from 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
