Sarah Geronimo admitted that she went through a quarter-life crisis, as reported by ABS-CBN.
The pop princess recently held a two-night sold-out concert, "From The Top," at the Araneta Coliseum on December 4 and 5—and her risqué and edgy performances showed her transformation as an artist.
The 27-year-old singer admitted that the change was because she was going through something: “Pinagdaanan ko ‘yung parang quarter-life crisis na [tinanong ko sa sarili ko], ‘Ano ba talaga gusto ko?’
She was, in a sense, finding her very own musical identity—veering away from the wholesome and innocent image we’ve associated with her for so many years.
Apart from changing up her musical performances, Sarah also is steering clear from making romantic comedies—a genre that has given her a number of box-office hits.
