Herlene Budol aka "Hipon Girl" is extra busy these days, what with her flurry of activities as a candidate in Binibining Pilipinas.
Recently, the pageant organization held its Grand Santacruzan, wherein the candidates showed off beautiful creations as part of the month-long Flores De Mayo festival.
Herlene, who is representing Angono, Rizal, looked stunning in an elaborate Filipiniana ensemble, made more glamorous with a massive head-to-toe gold headpiece.
In an IG post, Herlene proudly showed off the outfit which was created by Zamboanga-based fashion designer Geronie Labora. According to Herlene, the outfit comes at a hefty price.
"Mga Hiponatics, ito yung na-assign kay Hipon Girl niyo sa Binibining Pilipinas Pamayanan Guadalupe para sa Flores de Mayo," Herlene shared. "Ginastusan itong creation na sobrang detalyado sa halagang P150,000."
Herlene looked radiant in the outfit as she and the other pageant candidates paraded around Araneta Center.
Herlene is among the pageant's top 40 candidates. While she has expressed that speaking English is her weakness, she has made it clear that she will not learn the English language for the competition.
