Contrary to what she mentioned in her previous interviews, it seems that Herlene Budol isn’t ready to end her beauty queen journey yet. Months after her Miss Planet International stint in Uganda, she’s now ready to take on the Miss Grand Philippines stage!
She confirmed the news during her interview with Boy Abunda, “Kung ako ang tatanungin Tito Boy, gusto ko yung gusto ng manager ko naman. So sasali po ako.”
“Nung [Binibining Pilipinas] po, totally hindi ko po talaga gustong sumali,” she added. “Siya lang po ang nag-motivate sa akin, nakita niya po ang potential ko.”
The beauty queen also revealed that she wants to ~repay~ her manager’s kindness. “Tinupad niya yung mga pangarap ko magkaroon ng bahay, sasakyan, mapagamot yung lolo ko. Pati yung burol ng lola ko sinagot niya,” she says.
“So ang kaligayahan naman ni Sir Wilbert [Tolentino] ang gagawin ko, which is kaligayahan ko rin po ngayon.”
