Mark your calendars, Hallyu fans! K-drama’s rising star Hwang In Yeop is set to stage his first-ever fan meet in Manila, and it’s coming sooner than you think! In collaboration with BYS Philippines, the Korean actor’s BYS Fun Meet in Manila will be happening on June 19, 2022 at the New Frontier Theater.
In Yeop is an actor, fashion model, and singer who debuted in 2019 through the drama series The Tale Of Nokdu, starring alongside Jang Doong Yun and Kim So Hyun. He rose to international fame through his breakout role in True Beauty, where he also sang one of the Drama’s OSTs, It Stars Today.
In 2021, he was the second most Googled Korean celebrity in the country, next to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha's Kim Seon Ho. His upcoming projects include a Netflix musical fantasy drama entitled The Sound Of Magic, where he plays Na Il Deung, a studious yet antisocial character who unveils a new personality after discovering the world of magical tricks.
Fun fact: The Philippines is close to the actor’s heart as he studied at the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School when he was in high school and at the Philippine Women’s College in Davao during his undergraduate days. So cool!
