You guys, we *discovered* a new Korean celebrity friendship!
On April 16, Squid Game star Jung Ho Yeon returned to South Korea after her various projects abroad and she visited Hyeri's house. She uploaded a photo of the Reply 1988 actress on her IG story and captioned it with "Chef Lee Hyeri." The two also went on a Pilates ~date~ on the same day.
It turns out, they have been friends for a long time already! Last year, Ho Yeon appeared in an episode of Hangout With Yoo where she took home 1 million won (around P42,000) after winning a quiz. She gave half of it to Hyeri, who posted the gift on her IG account and wrote that it was her "allowance" from Ho Yeon. Cute!
Fun fact: Their boyfriends are cast members of Reply 1988! Hyeri has been dating Ryu Jun Yeol since 2017 and on the other hand, Ho Yeon is in a relationship with Lee Dong Hwi for more than six years. According to reports, the two became close thanks to Dong Hwi who introduced them to each other.
Hyeri is in talks to lead a fantasy drama with fellow K-pop idol-turned-actor Yoon Dojoon while Ho Yeon is confirmed to star in the Hollywood movie, The Governesses.
