You guys, Fox has dropped its trailer for its musical drama Monarch, and Iñigo Pascual makes an appearance!
In the preview, we can see Iñigo admiring Anna Friel (who plays Nicolette "Nicky" Roman) perform on stage. Beside him are Joshua Sasse (playing Nicky's brother, Luke Roman) and Adam Croasdell (playing Nicky's husband, Clive Grayson).
Iñigo plays Nicky's adopted son, Ace Grayson, "who also dreams of becoming a country star but faces some challenges along the way." His other co-stars include Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins, and Beth Ditto.

Monarch is the story of the Roman family, America's "first family" when it comes to country music. Basically, the Romans have established a music dynasty, but when this becomes jeopardized, Nicky—set on inheriting the throne—will "stop at nothing to protect her family's legacy."
Iñigo first revealed in a tweet in September that he had been cast in the musical drama. This marks his official Hollywood debut.
"THE NEWS IS OUT!" he wrote. "Sorry I kept it a secret for so long."
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Iñigo shared that he would be using a Texan accent in the series, something he's been working at with the help of a dialect coach. He also said that he actually submitted his audition tape *late* because he didn't feel he would even be considered for the role.
"I honestly didn't think I was gonna get it so I wasn't planning on auditioning," he shared. "I was like, you know, there [are] other actors in America that could probably land the part."
Iñigo also revealed that he still can't believe he had the chance to work with Susan.
"Hindi ako makapaniwala nung kausap ko siya... 'Hindi na lang kita sa screen napapanood.'"
"The first night we met, para niya akong binaptize, para niya akong bininyagan into my character," he added. "Nagkaroon kami ng moment, iyakan kami, nagyakapan kami. Niyakap niya ako, kinausap niya ako bilang nanay ko."
We can't wait to see him as Ace Grayson! Monarch is set to air on January 30, 2022. Watch the trailer here:
