Everyone knows and loves Ivana Alawi for her candid personality and witty humor, but it seems like when it comes to relationships, she prefers something simple and private.
In one of Toni Gonzaga's latest vlogs, the actress admitted that while she doesn't mind going out with non-showbiz and showbiz people, she prefers to keep her relationships from the prying eyes of the public.
"I like having a private relationship kasi feeling ko kapag in-out agad namin, parang mabilis siyang masisira."
She also shared that she prefers men who are humble and goal-driven. When asked about her biggest turn-off, Ivana said that she likes to keep her distance from men who are 'mayabang.'
This perspective is what made her walk out from someone after she saw the person screaming at their server during a dinner date.
"May time, we were eating at a restaurant, tapos pinagsisigawan niya yung waiter. Parang siguro he was trying to impress me, pero hindi niya alam, sobrang na-turn-off ako."
"Kung ganun siya mag-trato, he can treat anyone else like that."
When Toni asked if she was referring to a celebrity, Ivana simply smiled and laughed it off.
She continued by saying that she apologized to the server, who was driven to tears, after walking out from her table.
Despite only being 24 years old, Ivana also shared some relationship lessons that she learned from her own experiences and her mother. She candidly said that she was thankful to her mom for letting her experience life, especially when it comes to romantic relationships, so she could learn.
"Listen to your mom. Huwag mo ibigay ang lahat."
