After his controversial split with ex-girlfriend Kylie Verzosa, Jake Cuenca says that he’s not *in a rush* to enter a new relationship. “Hindi ako gutom na maghanap ng bagong girlfriend, or maghanap ng pagmamahal,” he says. “Ngayon, gusto ko lang isukli sa tao lahat ng pagmamahal na ibinibigay nila sa akin. My family, my fans, kayo, my directors and my producers who believe in me.”
If there’s something the actor has learned from his previous relationships, though, it’s the fact that he loves with ~everything~ he has. “Kung mayroon man akong big takeaway, siguro wala akong babaguhin. Ganun talaga ako magmahal, sagad. Inuubos ko ang sarili ko para sa isang tao and hindi ako nagsisisi in the end,” he reveals. However, he also admits that while he has *all this love* to give, he's currently prioritizing his family.
“To be honest, wala pa ako sa mood magka-girlfriend. Nandun ako sa [point na] gusto kong bumawi sa pamilya ko. Gusto kong mag-provide, gusto kong dalhin ang nanay ko sa lahat ng bansa na gusto niyang puntahan.”

Pero isa sa natutunan ko these past six months na lumipas, a very valuable thing na natutunan ko is to be happy being alone. To learn to be self-sufficient, to learn to make yourself happy.” Well said, Jake!
