Don't be intimidated by the 500 steps it takes to reach the top. Wooden steps make the upward hike easy-peasy (we promise that the view is worth it!). 2. The Museum of Sex and Health

This spot is number one on any tour guide's list of recommended spots for newlyweds. Jeju's Museum of Sex and Health is the world's largest museum dedicated to sex education and appreciation. 4. Udo Submarine

5. Manjanggul Lava Tube

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this national geopark spans a whooping length of more than 7,400 meters, making it one of the largest lava tubes in the world. Sections filled with lava flow lines, stalactites, stone marks, and natural formations await visitors like artworks in a gallery. 6. Yakchunsa Temple

Address: 1165 Daepo-dong Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do

Reminiscent of Buddhist architecture during the early Joseon dynasty, the Yakchunsa Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Asia. Known for its size and grandeur, the temple has caught the eye of tourists the world over for the calm and peace it offers. Outside the temple is a three-dragon-head fountain where visitors can get a taste of fresh, sweet water (just like what you see in K-dramas when characters visit a template!). Inside guests are welcomed by a five-meter tall statue of celestial buddha Vairocana. The second floor houses 80,000 small Budha figurines and lanterns linked to prayers and wishes from visitors. Yakchunsa Temple also has a temple stay program that promotes rest, meditation, and inner harmony.

7. Lee Joong Seop Street

Lee Joong Seop Street celebrates the life and work of one of South Korea's most celebrated artists. Lee Joong Seop is a North Korean artistic genius who fled and sought refuge with his family in Seogwipo City. There he spent the last years of his life drawing and painting works of art. His artworks can be viewed at the Lee Joong Seop Museum, which was built to honor his artistic achievements. Cute cafés, galleries, and craft stores surround the area, making it a must-visit destination for art lovers of all ages.

8. Dongmun Market
