Because of his top-tier acting skills, Jo Han Chul starred in three tvN K-dramas in 2021 alone—and he's now *named* as this year's tVN star. We picked some of the best Jo Han Chul K-dramas and where you can (re)watch them:

6. Vincenzo (2021)

Where you can watch it: Netflix

What happens when a plot is disturbing yet hilarious? It's a recipe for a must-watch K-drama! Vincenzo shows how a mafia consigliere (Song Joong Ki) can be both deadly and funny at the same time. This series marks Jo Han Chul's most remarkable role to date as he portrays a law firm CEO who trembles in front of his *real* boss. He's a villain here—a feeble villain at that—so you'll probably get annoyed (and laugh so hard) by his character.

7. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021)

Where you can watch it: Netflix

This is the Jo Han Chul ~refresher~ we all need after seeing him as an antagonist! In Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, he's Oh Chun Jae, a single and loving dad to Oh Ju Ri (Kim Min Seo) with a thing for gossiping. He used to be a singer in the early '90s but it was a short-lived career, and he now manages a cafe-slash-pub in the seaside village of Gongjin. Prepare your tissues when you watch this drama because Jo Han Chul will make you sob with his backstory.

P.S: He's also reunited with Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho here!

8. Jirisan (2021)

Where you can watch it: iQIYI

After conquering the sea, Jo Han Chul is now trekking the mountains! He joins a roster of veteran actors (Sung Dong Il, Jun Ji Hyun, Ju Ji Hoon, Oh Jung Se, and Kim Young Ok) in the *super* expensive K-drama (the production budget is reportedly P1.3 billion. Whoa!) Jirisan. As the ranger team leader of the Jirisan National Park, he's one responsible individual who focuses on protecting Mount Jiri and its many visitors. During Jirisan's press con, Jo Han Chul said that he actually hiked Mount Jiri (yes, it exists IRL!) a couple of times.
