Despite keeping their private life firmly under wraps, a source told Us Weekly that the actor is considering popping the question and is eager to make the event as memorable as possible.
"Joe is very keen on proposing soon, But he wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special." The same source added that Taylor is guaranteed to say yes regardless of how he goes about it: "He's her dream guy. Taylor's going to be over the moon."
Tbh, almost hoping this isn't true, because surprise ruined. Sorry.
Engagement rumors first surfaced for these two back in March when an insider told the site that the singer "really believes Joe is the one for her. She wants to get engaged to him. She just doesn't feel as though she has to impress anyone at this point."
Just recently, Taylor was spotted entering the London premiere and after-party of Joe's latest film, Mary, Queen of Scots, but notably declined walking the red carpet in order to keep her appearance on the DL.
This comes as Joe made it clear that he wouldn't be talking about their relationship to press: "I didn't seek out advice on that [asking her on a first date] because I know what I feel about it," he told Esquire.
He went on to add that their relationship has never been public property: "I think there's a very clear line as to what somebody should share, or feel like they have to share, and what they don't want to and shouldn't have to."
If he *does* pop the question, it sounds like the proposal probably won't make it to Instagram.
