Fresh off The Killer Bride finale and Block Z premiere, Joshua Garcia will take on another suspense project: the movie adaptation of Bob Ong’s horror-mystery book, Ang Mga Kaibigan Ni Mama Susan.
Black Sheep announced that the movie will be directed by Chito S. Roño (Sukob, Feng Shui, Dekada ’70). It will be co-produced by Regal Entertainment, which is known for the Shake, Rattle & Roll series, among other movies.
Published in 2010, Ang Mga Kaibigan Ni Mama Susan is about college student Galo’s journal entries. He writes about the people and the mysteries he encounters when he returns to his hometown for his sick grandmother, Mama Susan.
Joshua previously starred with Janella Salvador in the teleserye The Killer Bride and with Julia Barretto in the zombie movie Block Z.
