In a recent appearance on ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay, Joshua Garcia and his The Killer Bride co-star Janella Salvador were asked by host Jolina Magdangal, “Ano ang pinakamalaking natutunan niyo about love?”
Joshua said, “Ako, natutunan ko na maging kuntento sa kung ano'ng meron ako. Tapos, yung tipong kahit isang linggo kayo hindi magkita, ikaw at ikaw parin yung pipiliin niya.”
Janella answered, “Know your worth. In a relationship kasi, you can’t love the other person properly kung hindi mo mamahalin yung sarili mo.”
Janella continued, “So never forget about your worth kahit nasa relationship ka. Alamin mo parin kung ano yung makakabuti sa buhay mo individually, hindi lang para sa inyong dalawa. Kung magkapareho kayo ng plans, that means you’re meant for each other.”
Joshua added to Janella’s statement, “‘Yan yung mina-master ko ngayon. Sabi ko, mahalin ko muna yung sarili ko.”
Joshua last dated Julia Barretto who said in a June 2019 interview, “For now, babalik muna kami sa pinagsimulan namin. We're now best of friends.” A month later, in July 2019, Julia was linked to her Between Maybes co-star Gerald Anderson.
Meanwhile, Janella was last teamed up with Elmo Magalona. In an interview with Ricky Lo, Janella admitted that Elmo physically hurt her while under the influence of alcohol. Janella said, “For two years, I focused on Elmo and myself. This time, I am giving more attention to myself. He hurt me and I cannot, can never tolerate that.”
