Many people are still grieving over the loss of Eddie Garcia, who passed away on June 20. Celebs have joined in the outpouring of love for the veteran actor, which has swept social media.
Judy Ann Santos recently took to Instagram to pay tribute to Eddie Garcia, and her lengthy post drew mixed reactions from netizens.
"Nakakalungkot... Mapayapang paglalakbay, Sir Eddie..."
Judy Ann's followers felt she might be blaming a TV network for the actor's passing, instead of accepting what has already happened.
Judy Ann clarified that she was not pointing fingers at anyone and that she would just like all concerned in the entertainment industry to be more careful and vigilant in times of accidents such as what had happened to Eddie Garcia.
Another netizen shared how the accident really was nobody's fault and that it might have really just been Eddie Garcia's "time" already.
Judy Ann replied by saying nobody wanted it to happen, of course.
Another netizen criticized Judy Ann, asking her if she would've reacted in the same way if the network she works for was the one involved in the accident, to which she replied, "Yes."
Another user stressed the need for not just the actors to be protected, but the staff and crew as well.
Judy Ann echoed the netizen's sentiments.
Eddie Garcia was filming an action sequence for a television show when he accidentally tripped on a cable on set and fractured his neck. The actor was in a comatose before he passed away.
