Juggling school and work can be quite a feat. From a celebrity who's proud of being a breadwinner at the tender age of 12 to a college student sidelining as a call center agent, these hardworking women definitely know the value of hard work while getting a good education.
Joining the ranks of the many women who mix school and studying is Julia Montes. On Instagram, she recently shared that she received a certificate for making it to her school's Dean's List at Southville International School and Colleges. Julia is currently taking up a degree in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management.
The actress, who's currently part of the cast of Ang Probinsyano, posted on September 1, "Gusto ko lang po magpasalamat kay GOD sa lahat ng blessing na binibigay niya sa akin na nakakapagaral po ako habang natratrabaho."
Julia also thanked her family, professors, and everyone who loves her as she added, "Dahil kayo po ang inspiration ko para matupad lahat ng dreams ko."
In a separate Instagram post in November 2020, Julia posted a photo of herself wearing a uniform while hitting the books. In her post, Julia said that she plans to put up her own restaurant and added that she looks forward to attending her classes.
One year ago, Julia announced that she is officially back to being a student. She wrote, "This is how I turn a crisis into an opportunity, doing things I've always wanted now that I have the luxury of time. Indeed, education is a lifelong venture."
The actress is even one of her school's student ambassadors, as seen in this Instagram post from January:
Other actresses who've called this school their home are Liza Soberano, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Winywn Marquez.
