K Brosas just shared some significant news: She just survived COVID-19.
The singer-comedienne made the announcement on Twitter on April 9, Friday, saying she had battled the virus for more than two weeks.
"Thank you, Lord, after 17 days na [isolated], mag-isa, COVID-free na 'ko!" she rejoiced in her tweet, which showed a photo of her negative RT-PCR test result. "Sensya na 'di ako nakapag-vlog about my COVID journey, chos."
K also talked about the mental agony of having to deal with the disease, expressing her gratitude that she only experienced mild symptoms. She also apologized to fans for not documenting her "COVID journey" and revealed she had even prepared something for those she could have left behind.
"Nag-'huling habilin' video ako, yes, ganun ako ka-praning at takot na kahit mild lang nangyari sa 'kin, ginawa ko 'yon," she confessed. "Binura ko na rin kasi ang sad lang. Ganun ang mental torture na dinaanan ko pero laban lang."
K had a lengthier post on IG, where she talked about how it's a good thing that she's used to living alone, but how terrified she was, worrying about her daughter Crystal Brosas, a helper, and her driver. Thankfully, it was only her assistant who tested positive and they have both already recovered.
She reminded netizens' "social responsibility" to remain doubly vigilant against COVID-19 in order to protect the most vulnerable.
We're so glad she's doing well!
