Last night, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian went onWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and someone submitted a question to the show asking Kim about all of Kanye West's controversial tweets. Kim, as she tends to do, defended him.
"He goes through phases," she said. "You know, he made a good point the other day. He was like, 'Look some people express themselves—whether it's about a person, like, in diss records'—and he’s like, 'I've never done that. Some people see a therapist. Some people do this. To me, Twitter is my therapy, and it's legal. So, I'm not doing anything to hurt anyone.'"
"'People can end up in jail for the things that I'm thinking, but instead I just tweet it all, it might be 150 tweets but that's how I get it out and then I feel better,'" Kim recalled Kanye explaining.
What's weird about this defense is that Kanye has definitely recorded diss tracks before. Remember when he took credit for all of Taylor Swift's fame back in 2015 by saying, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous."
And his tweets can definitely be hurtful in nature. There was that one time he completely disregarded all the 60 victims who came forward to speak out against Bill Cosby by claiming Bill was innocent.
So yeah, IDK if this makes a ton of sense, but if you want to watch Kim explain it herself, you can do so with the clip below.
