Between doing her best model poses with a cockatoo for the new issue of Vogue, Kendall Jenner took some time to address those perennial "is she gay?" rumors.
Kendall has been previously rumored to have dated women including Cara Delevingne—remember when they were all about their "CaKe" name?—and her friend Lauren Perez. To be clear, said rumors have never amounted to much more than Internet chatter and social media "sleuthing," but here we all are anyway!
Oh, and rapper Tyler, The Creator also said (or joked) that she was gay that one time, remember!?
But, because such is the life of a twenty-something A-Lister, Kendall has in the past also been rumored to be dating guys including A$AP Rocky, Justin Bieber, and Harry Styles. In line with these reports, many have speculated that Kendall has used her alleged dalliances with guys to hide her sexuality. Literally, a @KendallBeingGay Twitter account exists to call out the (supposed) truth behind the beards.
Except, hold up, nope, Kendall's not gay—and she has something to say about it! Speaking with Vogue, here she is on the record about her sexuality and why having a "male energy" doesn't mean anything, really:
"I don't think I have a bisexual or gay bone in my body, but I don't know! Who knows?! I’m all down for experience—not against it whatsoever—but I've never been there before." She ponders it for a moment. "Also, I know I have kind of a … male energy? But I don't want to say that wrong, because I'm not transgender or anything. But I have a tough energy. I move differently. But to answer your question: I'm not gay. I have literally nothing to hide." She lets out a mordant chuckle. "I would never hide something like that."
That is, she has "literally nothing to hide" except the details of her also much-rumored relationship with basketball player Blake Griffin. "Yeah...no. I'm happy. He's very nice. I have someone being very nice to me," she told Vogue of an otherwise-anonymous paramour—someone who's using he/him pronouns specifically.
So there you have it. Or, as @KendallBeingGay puts it:
