Khalil Ramos And Sue Ramirez Star In The Trailer Of 'Dead Kids,' The First Filipino Netflix Original Film

Dead Kids, the first Filipino Netflix Original film, will be premiering soon, and now we have the full trailer starring Khalil Ramos, Sue Ramirez, and more actors. Inspired by true events, the movie is about a group of teenage boys who recruit their socially awkward classmate to kidnap the school bully. Watch the trailer below:

Directed by Mikhail Red, the movie also stars Markus Paterson, Vance Larena, Kelvin Miranda, Gabby Padilla, and Jan Silverio. The director also helmed Birdshot, the Filipino-produced film to be picked up by Netflix.

According to Coconuts Manila, the director said that Dead Kids is “a crime story in the age of social media and a bleak vision of the Filipino youth’s psyche. It is a commentary on the youth’s views on masculinity, morality, and vigilante justice paralleled with today’s political climate. It is both a coming-of-age story and a cautionary tale for the builders of our future.” 

Dead Kids will be available for streaming worldwide on December 1.
