In a tell-all interview with Ogie Diaz, Kiko Estrada spoke against accusations that he cheated on Devon Seron and that Heaven Peralejo was the third party in their breakup. Kiko denied it, saying that his breakup with Devon happened on February 14, 2021, and that Heaven came into his life a month later.
"Nakakalungkot na it had to be this way," said Kiko. "I think it's long overdue. This is going overboard, and I just want them to know the truth, and to know the specific timeline from me...Me and Devon broke up on Valentine's Day 2021, and then me and Heaven became together May 30. But of course, we were talking a month after the breakup."
"It was not a good breakup, but it was a breakup. But I wish her well," Kiko said, adding that he and Devon are civil to each other but that he has no inclination to talk things out with her. "I just wish her the best and when I see her, I want to see her happy. I want to see her good in life, healthy. I want to see her with a big smile."
Kiko says the breakup hurt both of them, and that he didn't expect to find happiness with Heaven so soon. "I was hurt, too. I didn't want to leave her. But the situation caused it. Nangyari na yung nangyari. Hindi ko naman siguro kasalanan na I moved on. Sino bang hindi gustong mag-move on sa nakaraan? Who doesn't want to find happiness kung malungkot ka?"
As for the social media posts of Devon's sister, Kiko shared: "I guess she's just hurt. I guess nasaktan sila sa nangyari. I never overlapped."
According to the actor, he didn't speak up before this because he thought the issue would die down. He said he is doing it for Heaven, who is emotionally, mentally, and physically down, and that just like him, Heaven is misunderstood and judged. "Seeing the person you love hurt by lies, or by fabricated truth, it takes a man to stand up to tell the truth and to tell what really happened. I'm a private guy, nakakalungkot lang na I had to reach this point to tell everyone the truth. Kasi mahirap naman yung taong mahal mo, nakikita mo laging malungkot."

What happened to Devon, Kiko, and Heaven?
Back in March 2021, breakup rumors between Kiko and Devon surfaced after Devon and her sister posted some cryptic posts on social media. During that time, Kiko was starring in the show Bagong Umaga alongside Heaven and netizens accused Heaven of being the third party in the relationship. A few days after the issue broke out, Heaven and her mom released statements denying her involvement with Kiko.
The actor officially confirmed his breakup with Devon in April by saying he was single. According to PEP, Kiko and Heaven were spotted in Boracay together in June, and again during a family gathering in July. Kiko and Heaven went Insta-official with their relationship in August 2021.
