Actor Kiko Estrada recently made headlines after he went Insta-official with Heaven Peralejo. The two co-starred in the ABS-CBN teleserye Bagong Umaga, and were first rumored to be dating in March 2021. And because we know you're curious about him...

1. Kiko's birthday is on June 4, 1995.
Kiko's parents are Cheska Diaz and Gary Estrada.
2. Even though he comes from a showbiz family, Kiko says he didn't want to be an actor at first.
At five years old, Kiko wanted to be a billionaire...and Batman. He also wanted to be a basketball player in high school! Kiko only started thinking about becoming an actor in March 2011, when his grandfather Paquito Diaz passed away. "Before he died, he told me na I was gonna replace him. And I told him, 'Hindi ko kayang gawin 'yon at hindi ko gagawin 'yon, dahil walang pwedeng pumalit sa'yo," Kiko said in the show Tunay Na Buhay.
3. His first show was Tween Hearts in 2011.

4. Kiko has won several awards throughout his acting career!
He won the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award at the 63rd FAMAS Awards in 2015 and Outstanding New Best Actor at the 2017 World Class Excellence Japan Awards (for his role in Sinungaling Mong Puso).
5. He is a mama's boy.
In an episode of Magandang Buhay, Kiko said his mom knows almost all of his secrets.
6. Kiko says he went through depression when he was younger.
In a 2019 interview with Boy Abunda, Kiko shared the "dark phase" in his life lasted for three years, starting when he was 19: "There was no point in waking up, in eating...I had no motivation. I remember I quit school, nag-LOA ako from school. I had one year left in Benilde." This was the point where he entered showbiz. Kiko says the pressure ate him up, he drank excessively, and that he didn't seek medical help because he didn't want his mom to know about what he was going through.
He was able to recover by regularly praying to God and spending time with Devon Seron, who eventually became his girlfriend. "She's hope. She's hope for me being a better person, she's hope for me reaching my dreams," Kiko told Tito Boy.
7. Kiko doesn't eat rice!
In his interview with Tito Boy, Kiko shared he had to work really hard to achieve a fit body, even applying discipline when it comes to his diet. "No rice. I don't eat rice. I eat broccoli, chicken breast, and fish. But it's part of the sacrifice because I made a commitment to myself, Tito Boy," Kiko shared. "I want to make quality work and it has to show in the body, in the outlook, in the performance."
