Kim Chiu just received the Best Actress for TV (Single Performance) award from the Guild of Educators, Mentors, and Students (GEMS) for her role on “Mata,” an episode on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).

According to the synopsis of the episode, Kim played Sarah, a girl who had been possessed most of her life and had to deal with her life’s dramas to drive out the demons that were holding her hostage.
