The video, recorded in November 2019 during All Saints Day, gives a glimpse of Kim’s childhood home. Kim said before entering the small apartment, “Dating pangarap, ngayon natupdad. Dito nag-start ang lahat.”
The actress also recalled the time she got a text message informing her that she got accepted to enter the Pinoy Big Brother house. Kim shared that she was doing the laundry when she got the good news. She ended up winning the teen edition of the reality-based TV show in 2006.
Kim’s house tour was quick as she and her siblings did not have their own rooms. Kim said, “Iikot ka lang ng iikot, makikita mo na yung bahay ko dati.”
After dropping by her childhood home, Kim visited her mom’s final resting place which she calls her mom’s “house.” Her mother, Louella Chiu-Yap, passed away in 2013 due to an aneurysm.
Kim also did a quick house tour of her “hidden treasure” in Cebu: A two-bedroom condominium unit. Kim said, “[Kapag] mga ganito, it’s a good investment kaysa gastusin mo sa luho. Makikita mo yung hard work mo and everything.”
