In April, it was rumored that the K-pop idol is involved in bullying accusations as told by netizens on Korean online communities. They have claimed that Garam "would hurl curse words at you if you passed by" and one student reportedly "collapsed at school and went to the emergency room due to Kim Garam's actions." A day after the rumors surfaced, Source Music denied the allegations saying they were edited to slander her. They also added that in contrast to the statements, "she was a victim of school bullying, including malicious rumors and cyberbullying, when she was in middle school."
