Aegyo kween Kim Ji Won was a commercial model before entering the K-drama industry! In 2010, she became known as the "Oran C Girl" after starring in an advertisement for a soda brand. We're all fascinated with the lives of ~the rich and famous~, and for many of us, spoiled teenager Rachel Yoo was our introduction to Kim Ji Won. In an interview about the drama, Kim Ji Won shared that some of Rachel's characteristics were inspired by Gossip Girls' Blair Waldorf.
2. One Sunny Day (2014)

Viu tells us that in this super short web drama, "Kim Ji Ho (So Ji Sub) is a broken-hearted man who winds up in Jeju Island for work, but he keeps running into the same woman (Kim Ji Won). One day, they both get robbed and meet in the police station where they went to report the case."
3. Descendants Of The Sun (2016)

Fun fact: Kim Ji Won cried tears of joy when she was cast in the role because of writer Kim Eun Sook! During a guesting for the show Night Goblin, the actress shared: "I was a fan of hers after I did the drama The Heirs, and I wondered if I could receive a script of hers again...When I heard that they were casting [for Descendants Of The Sun], I never thought that I would get that opportunity. But Kim Eun Sook called me and said 'Let's do this together' and I held the phone and cried and cried."
4. Fight For My Way (2017)

Adulting? Broke millennials? Falling in love with your BFF? Aside from the fact that our fave bb Park Seo Joon stars opposite Ji Won in this series, there are so many things to love about this show! Kim Ji Won's character Choi Ae Ra dreams of becoming a TV anchor but instead works as an information desk employee at a department store.
5. Mr. Sunshine (2018)
Where to watch it: Netflix
She had a guest role in the drama's first episode as Ae Shin the leading lady's mother! Her Descendants Of The Sun co-star, Jin Goo, also made a cameo in the show. The period drama is set in the late 1800s and tells the story of a Korean man raised in the US who returns to his home country and falls in love with a noblewoman.
6. Detective K: Secret Of The Living Dead (2018)
Where to watch it: Viu
Okay, disclaimer: this one's a fantasy-comedy movie! The trailer from Well Go USA Entertainment tells us: "When a series of unusual murders occurs, Detective K and his partner are called upon to solve the case. Along the way, he teams up with a beautiful woman with amnesia and together they discover Vampire bite marks on all of the bodies. As they investigate further, they begin to realize that the woman is somehow closely connected to the deaths."
7. Arthdal Chronicles (2019)
Where to watch it: Netflix
Arthdal Chronicles is Korea's first ancient historical series. The drama tells the story of Eun Seom (Song Joong Ki), a half-breed who just wants to belong. Kim Ji Won's character Tanya is Eun Seom's one true friend and "the Wahan Tribe's shaman in the making." You can read Cosmo's honest review of the drama here!
8. Lovestruck In The City
Where to watch it: Netflix
Kim Ji Won stars opposite Ji Chang Wook in this short-form drama. Her character Lee Eun Oh adopts "a false identity" and ends up falling in love with an architect named Park Jae Won. The show is currently airing and is available on Netflix!

Yup, Kim Ji Won appeared on the Korean variety show with Jin Goo in 2016. They even participated in an "aegyo battle!"
