It looks like we'll be seeing more of actor Kim Jung Hyun soon! The Twitterverse is going ~wild~ because reports claim that he will be starring in the upcoming K-drama Queen Cheorin opposite Shin Hye Sun.
According to Soompi, Queen Cheorin "tells the story of Bong Hwan, a man living in modern times whose soul gets trapped in the body of a queen from the Joseon Dynasty." Based on this description, it's safe to assume that it'll be a gender-swap drama similar to Secret Garden (2010). The drama is set to air sometime in November 2020.
As of the moment, K-drama fansites are sharing different information, but here's to hoping this is really true!
Kim Jung Hyun is also set to make a cameo appearance in Seo Ji Hye's drama, Shall We Eat Dinner Together?, where she stars opposite Song Seung Heon. Jung Hyun and Ji Hye recently played the second leads in the hit drama Crash Landing On You as a South Korean conman named Seung-joon (aka Alberto Gu) and a rich North Korean woman named Seo Dan who's been ~unhappily engaged~ for 10 years.
Meanwhile, Shin Hye Sun's latest project is the drama Angel's Last Mission: Love, where she played the role of a ballerina.
