Like you, Kim Kardashian can’t stop basking in the joy that is Kylie Jenner officially entering motherhood. On Monday, one day after Kylie announced the birth of her first child with Travis Scott, Kim took to her official website and app to send a message of congrats to the new mom. In the post, appropriately titled, “Congratulations Kylie!” Kim writes, “Mommy Kylie!!! You did it!!! I’m so incredibly proud of the woman you have grown up to be and I know that you are going to be the best mom to your new baby girl!”
Kim, who welcomed her third child Chicago via surrogate last month, added her excitement about the future BFFs (and style icons?) growing up together. (Chi also makes an appearance in Kylie's 11-minute baby video.) “Our girls are two weeks apart and I can’t wait for them to be besties!” Kim also praised her sister for choosing to keep her pregnancy private. “I am so proud that you do what you want to do and live your life the way you want, you will pass down all of those amazing qualities to your baby girl. You were made to be a mom! I love you!”
In a lengthy Instagram post shared on Sunday, Kylie explained why she stayed out of the spotlight during her pregnancy. “I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how,” she wrote. “There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”
