The Kings of K-pop are *finally* back! ICYMI, BIGBANG dropped their highly-anticipated single "Still Life" on April 5 at 12:00 AM KST. This song marks their comeback after almost four years.
"Still Life" is an ode to the members' youth and it's depicted through the four seasons. Composed and written by G-Dragon and T.O.P, the song quickly climbed the charts minutes after its release, including iTunes and the major streaming platforms in South Korea, China, and Japan like Melon, Line Music, and QQ Music. Daebak.
BIGBANG's long-awaited return made VIPs (their fandom name) *so* emotional that #BIGBANG_STILLLIFE trended on Twitter and garnered more than 1.4 million tweets. It was not just the fans who celebrated the single because other Korean stars—from K-pop idols to Korean actors—also showed their support to the legendary group on their social media accounts.
Before the release of "Still Life," our VIP ~president~ Sandara Park gushed over BIGBANG's comeback when she responded to a fan's question. She said that the boys will always be her idols, dongsaengs (younger brothers), and oppa-to-be. Aww!
