Crazy Rich Asians author Kevin Kwan was recently in the country to promote his latest novel, Rich People Problems. On August 27, Kevin was joined by Kris Aquino—who is part of the cast of the Crazy Rich Asians movie adaptation—in Cebu for a book signing event.
In a recent Instagram post of Kris, a basher pointed out that she shouldn't have walked the stage with Kevin, and that the presence of the author should've been the highlight of the event.
Kris answered back fiercely, saying that she refused to let the basher ruin the event for her, even telling her not to use a peace sign so as to stand by her mean spiritedness.
But even if things got heated on social media with Kris and her followers, it looks like everything still ended on a good note. Kevin bonded with Kris over Jollibee and Chowking, and posted his goodbye to the Philippines where he said how touched he was by the love and kindness shown to him by Filipinos.
