ICYMI, Jollibee recently premiered their #KwentongJollibee Valentine Series for 2021 and it's giving us all the ~feels~. The first video, titled "LDR", was directed by 2020 MMFF Best Director Antoinette Jadaone so you're in for some hugot and kilig.
Inspired by a true story, the video shows the struggles of a couple who ends up in an unintentional long distance relationship (LDR)—rather, lockdown relationship—because of the pandemic. (Raise your hand if you're experiencing this rn!)
Sobrang daming quotable quotes from this short film you just have to see it for yourself. And tbh, even if you're not in a romantic relationship with someone, maa-appreciate mo pa rin 'to because this kind of LDR is something we *all* feel—with our family, our barkada, our officemates, and more. It's so heartwarming and relatable, I actually teared up a bit!
Grab a box of tissues and watch "LDR", the first film of this year's Kwentong Jollibee Valentine series below.
