It's been approximately two days since the news of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's breakup hit the internet, and everyone is still spiraling about it. People are wondering why the heck they split in the first place and if Kylie is seeing her ex-boyfriend Jaden Smith (again), and some are high-key starting to think the whole thing is a publicity stunt...which is a lot. But as the days go by, we're getting more updates about why Kylie and Travis might be taking a break from each other.
According to a People source, Kylie and Travis had multiple problems that impacted the quality of their relationship. "There were several issues that made them decide to take a break," the source said, adding that "Kylie is all about family life and really wants a second baby."
As much as Kylie apparently wants to give Stormi a little sibling to play with, it looks like she may have to put her baby number two dreams on hold. The People source said Kylie doesn't trust Travis right now, and Travis can't fulfill all of Kylie's needs at the moment. "She still has trust issues with Travis. He hasn't been giving her the commitment that she needs," the source said. "Travis isn't ready to give her all that she wants."
If this checks out, it means Kylie really wants to have an ideal relationship with Travis, but their issues aren't exactly making that a possibility. "Kylie looks up to Kim and really wants what she has with Kanye [West]," the source continued. At one point, Kylie and Travis were reportedly pretty satisfied with their relationship and were "discussing marriage," but that was back in July, likely before things started getting more complicated.
Regardless of their issues with each other, Kylie and Travis have managed to successfully co-parent Stormi. "Travis has been staying at his house in Beverly Hills and Kylie has been allowing him to see Stormi," an E! source explained. "She would never take that away from him."
Hopefully, Kylie and Travis can sort out their differences. Because let's be honest—can you name a more iconic couple?
