Breakups can be one of the most painful things a woman can go through, and their ways of coping will be different.
In a recent interview with host-actor Vice Ganda, beauty queen-actress Kylie Verzosa opened up about her breakup with Jake Cuenca.
In the interview, Kylie admitted that she is currently doing well and that she's grateful that she has a lot of things to look forward to, such as work. She also admitted that she's been seizing the opportunity to be by herself and her thoughts.
Kylie also revealed that she and Jake used to live together and that she had to move out after their breakup, something that they had both agreed on. Kylie shared that she was in tears as she packed her things.
"Feeling ko kasi kailangan niyong pag-usapan ng couple para siyempre, kailangan mature na relationship. Kailangan niyong pag-usapan kung paano nga ba kasi you lived the life together," Kylie shared. "So hindi puwede na hindi niyo alam yung gagawin."
"Ngayon, inaayos ko yung condo ko kasi binili ko siya for my family, tapos ngayon, sabi ko, 'Ako na lang titira do’n.'"
Kylie also revealed that she thought Jake was "the one."
"Akala ko hindi na ako magkakaroon ng heartbreak," she said. "Akala ko siya na. We loved each other."
Still, she has no regrets and is not harboring any resentment toward what has happened.
"Natulungan namin yung isa’t-isa, nagmahalan kami, nagtulungan kami sa isa’t-isa," Kylie notes about the relationship. "So para sa ‘kin, hindi ‘yon sayang. Nag-grow kami together as individuals so bakit siya sayang?"
